It is not in mirrors I see you now
or in clouds as some say
but most often when I am near water
the ocean
or standing in the rain
passing time in still pools
i do not talk talk to myself with water
the mind slows and i am given thoughts

You remain the few good things that I am

But I would let them all go
for just one cup of Darjeeling
with you on this day
