Корнелиус Норберт Гейсбрехт (Cornelis Norbertus Gysbrechts of Gijsbrechts, ок. 1630 - ок. 1684)  родился в Антверпене, где он в 1659/1660 гг. был членом местной гильдии Святого Луки. Известно, что он работал в Регенсбурге и в Гамбурге. С 1668 по 1672 г. он был придворным художником в Копенгагене. В эти годы он работал особенно плодотворно. Известно, что в 1675 г. он работал в Бреслау.
Писал главным образом натюрморты, Vanitas, был также мастером "обманки" (также известной как "betriegertje» или тромплей (фр. trompe-l'œil, «обман зрения») — это технический приём в искусстве, целью которого является создание оптической иллюзии того, что изображённый объект находится в трёхмерном пространстве, в то время как в действительности нарисован в двухмерной плоскости).
