The Enchanted Bottomless River:Philippines. 
Allegedly, no one, even several scuba diver, have failed to
reach this river's bottom.   Also, no one has caught any of the
very elusive fish which inhabit the river. The bluish color in the
river's center is said to be due to its unfathomable depth, and
reportedly, at around 12:00 o'clock noon, the water changes
color and becomes much clearer.

The astonishing annual red crab migration: Christmas Island
off the Australian coast
One of Mother Nature's many wonders occurs each year, when
millions of bright red land crabs leave their burrows (homes) on
Australia's Christmas Island and start a long, laborious trek
toward the sea.  They descend cliffs, climb banks, and maneuver
around obstacles to reach the shoreline and lay their eggs,
eventually returning to the island's central plateau with their
offspring in tow.  The synchronized migration resembles a
crimson-colored river undulating across the island and can
last up to 18 days.  The event typically takes place in either
November or December,  and the crabs only move when it is
raining and the mass migration coincides with high tide and
a waning moon.

Спасибо, Аркадий! Замечательный и позитивный пост! Красота необыкновенная! Особенно понравилась подвесная дорога над пропастью! Вот бы хоть немного пройтись по ней и испытать себя! В горах Китая тоже существует мост- экстрим.. Да и не только в Китае.. [показать] [показать]
