Kazakhstan has unveiled its Expo 2010 pavilion's design, which will showcase its young and dynamically developing capital, Astana.

The interior part of the pavilion will comprise eight zones: Territory of knowledge, 4D Cinema, Urban Matrix 2030, Interactive Entertainments, Area of Astana, Soft Tribune, Art-Zone (photo gallery) and Farewell to Kazakhstan. Its theme is "Astana - the Hearth of Eurasia."

Advanced electronic and information systems as well as virtual reproduction technologies will be used. The structure for the 1,000-square-meter pavilion has been completed.

The Kazakhstan Pavilion is located in Zone A, neighboring the pavilions of Japan and the Republic of Korea.

Kazakhstan signed the official participation contract with the organizer on November 13, 2008.
