Fallen leaves cluttered the ground, sticking to the rain soaked pavement. It was still dark, the storm having just subsided, water still dripping from the trees.
“It's ugly,” Harry grumbled, shoving his hands deeper into his coat pockets and kicking the leaves.
“You just fail to see the beauty of the season,” Dougie said, laughing. The blond bassist watched as a water logged leaf fell to the ground, joining its fallen friends.
“How is this,” Harry gestured around them with his hands. “Beautiful?”
“It's tragic beauty,” Dougie responded simply. Harry shot him a confused look. Dougie huffed out a laugh and shook his head. “It's the time when everything changes. The leaves become colorful and give the city new life.” Dougie explained.
“How's that tragic?” Harry questioned, looking around at the soaked trees.
“Because it means everything is about to die.” Harry raised an eyebrow at Dougie's answer.
“Wow, Doug, you just took your EMO to a whole new level.” (с) [300x202]
