Senior Java Developer

Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
5 + more year’s experience

Experience of server side programming of Java (Windows, Linux), J2SE, Swing, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, RMI, ClearCase, MQ, Webservices, XML.

Database : Oracle and Sybase.

Unix and Ant scripting.

Trading and Finance experience.

Have an appreciation for the trading environment and applications required in the repo/sec lending or similar business.

Desirable skills/knowledge:

Experience of development in an agile environment – Scrum, XP, iterative, pair programming, test driven development, refactoring, continuous integration.

Experience of Eclipse development environment.

Subversion source control.

Knowledge of the securities lending business.

Senior UNIX/C++ Developer

Skills/responsibilities:

University Degree or similar in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or Mathematics

Minimum of 3 years C++ experience for server-side development

Proven UNIX skills (including shell scripting)

Any Java experience for server-side development considered a plus

Solid multi-threaded programming knowledge

Inter-process communications (e.g. sockets, pipes, shared-memory or similar)

Database experience preferably Sybase and/or Oracle.
