MATERIALS
 One 50g ball of Needful Yarns Copenaghen [shown], or Stoccarda, Ker, Orsetto
Set of US #9/5.5mm DPNs
Fiberfill stuffing
Strands of black, green and pink yarn for embroidery
Sharp yarn needle
Safety pin or marker
DIRECTIONS
Note: Stockinette stitch will be used throughout.
Worked in rounds on 4 needles. The main piece begins at the nose and ends at tail.
BODY
CO 6 sts, divide 2 on each of 3 needles.
Place marker at beg of round; this marks the top of the head.
Join and k 1 round.
Next round: k1 *m1, k1* on each needle = 9 sts
Work 1 round.
Next round: k1 *m1, k1* twice on each needle = 15 sts
Work 1 round.
Next round: k1 *m1, k1* 4 times on each needle = 27 sts
Work 1 round.
Next round: k1 *m1, k1* 8 times on each needle = 51 sts
Work 4 rounds.
Next round: *k2, k2tog* 4 times, k1 on each needle = 39 sts
Work 1 round.
Next round: *k2, k2tog* 3 times, k1 on each needle = 30 sts
Work 3 rounds.
Next round: *k1, m1* 10 times on each needle = 60 sts=
Work 10 rounds.
Next round: *k4, k2tog* 10 times around = 50 sts
Work 1 round.
Next round: *k3, k2tog* 10 times around = 40 sts
Next round: *k2, k2tog* 10 times around = 30 sts
K 15 sts, TURN, p 30 sts TURN. [This will form hole for stuffing.]
Work back and forth as follows:
Next row: *k1, k2tog* 10 times = 20 sts
P 1 row.
Next round: *k2tog* 10 times = 10 sts
Rejoin round:
K 1 round, using join as new beginning of round.
Work 12 rounds.
Next round: *k2tog* 5 times = 5 sts
CO and draw up end, tuck yarn end inside.
EARS [make two]
Worked back and forth on 2 needles.
CO 7 sts.
K 1 row.
P 1 row.
Next row: sl 1 k1, PSSO, k3, k2tog.
P 1 row.
Next row: sl 1 k1, PSSO, k1, k2tog
P 1 row.
Next row: sl 1, k2tog, PSSO = 1 st
Cut yarn and pull through. Sew in end.
LEGS [make four]
Worked in rounds on 4 needles.
CO 12 sts; divide 4 on each of 3 needles.
Work 10 rounds.
CO and sew this end closed.
FINISHING
Stuff body, head, and tail and sew hole closed.
Sew ears to top of head on either side of center.
Stuff legs and sew to body in a sitting position.
Embroider face. To help with the placement, start with nose [pink], then mouth [black] and lastly eyes [green with black].
Thread a strand of yarn through neck and draw up loosely to define head if needed
