Ready to have a cute vampire suck a little more cash out of your pocket?
Fear not. The "Twilight" DVD comes out Saturday - and, as you'd expect, there are some after-dark activities already planned for fans.

Starting Friday at 10 pm, various participating retailers - think Borders bookstores, or Hot Topic tsotske shops - will be hosting "midnight parties." They're not giving too many details beyond that, unfortunately, but expect plenty of like-minded fans - plus a limited amount of free promotional items and, yes, possibly some "surprise cast appearances."
Then, at midnight, the DVD - a fairly deluxe two-disc package, complete with a full-length documentary and the usual prized "deleted scenes" -- goes on sale. Suggested retail is $32.99 (although, to be fair, if you aren't into hanging out at the mall, and don't mind waiting a little longer, you can order from Amazon right now for about $10 less, and just camp out by your mailbox).
Visit the "Twilight" website for details on finding a store near you - and also for a variety of "Twilight"-themed widgets, wallpapers, photos, links and even tips for throwing your own "Twilight" DVD Viewing Party. A bloody good time is guaranteed.
