Несколько лет назад мы с братом через интернет заказали Конфуция на различных иностранных языках. Поскольку из всех иностранных лучше всего я владею английским. то читаю Конфуция на английском и мне очень нравится. как он на английском звучит. Привожу свои любимые высказывания.

Confucius said

At fifteen I aspired to lerning, at thirty I established myself. At forty I have no delusions. At fifty I knew my destiny. At sixty I knew truth in all I heard. At seventy I could follow the wishes of my heart without doing wrong.

I used to take a man at his word and trusted he would act accordingly. But now I listen to his word and note his action/ The change is due to my job.

Look into his motives, note his course, take need of whether he is at ease, and how can a man hide, how can a man hide!

Do not be concerned when whithout official position. be concerned with where a stand is established. Do not be concerned when not appreciated, seek what can de appreciated.
