*  ultima Thule - лично я перевел как край земли, а дословно - Ультима Туле* - географическая область, которая, как предполагали древние географы, была самой северной точкой Земли в населенном мире( the geographical region believed by ancient geographers to be the northernmost land in the inhabited world).
