The Shepherd

How sweet is the shepherd's (шэпэд - пастух) sweet lot!
From the morn (мон - утро) to the evening he strays (стрэй - стадо);
He shall follow his sheep (шип - овца) all the day,
And his tongue (тан - язык) shall be filled with praise (прэиз - хвала).

For he hears the lambs' (лам - ягненок) innocent (инэсэнт - невинный) call,
And he hears the ewes' (ю - овца) tender (тэндэ - нежный) reply (риплай - отклик);
He is watchful (вочфул - бдительный) while they are in peace (пис - мир),
For they know when their shepherd is nigh (наи - рядом).
