Dear ASPERITY fan's,
Yes the rumors are true, the r.i.p in our name does mean what you think it means.. :'(
ASPERITY has officially announced our break up. after a good 2 and a half years we are finally calling it quits. we thank everyone of you that have supported us throughout these last few years and we are sure you would all like and deserve an explanation for the breakup. so here it is..

like all bands throughout the years, although we are all best friends(THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE) we have discovered some "creative differences" within our band. amongst that we have also noticed a enormous downfall in our fan base because of what we believe to be our new direction in music. we have discovered that you as fans are no longer satisfied with what we are creating musically and we cannot help that. we understand that you all love our old music from the first e.p but like any good band we have matured and developed a more intricate form of music. like we said, we understand that you as fans are not satisfied with this and that is also a BIG part of why we are parting ways as asperity.. :'(

BUT.. have no fear ladies and gentlemen!! if you still wish to fallow the boys of asperity you very much can in 4 different ways!! :)

1. Dana Mitchell(bassist) and Josh Hollister(drummer) have a new band!? called THE LEGEND!! they are also joined along side MISTER KEVIN from BEYOND ALL GLORY!! as well as a new female singer(Tarah) and d.j(kris)!! NEW MUSIC AS WELL AS NEW ALBUMS AND RELEASE DATES AND SHOWS WILL BE UP VERY SOON!!! :D

2. Mike(vocals) has began a new project as well!! their is no name yet but he is diligently writing so check back for more updates on that!! :)

3. Aaron(guitar) is also working on new material with Jake(Keyboards) & josh(drums)!! they are currently writing material, no name yet but more info will be available soon!! :)

Да, слухи верны – думаю вы знаете что означает R.I.P…Asperity официально объявила о нашем разрыве отношений. после хороших 2 с половиной лет мы наконец говорим, что это конец. мы благодарим каждого из Вас, которые поддержали нас в течение этих прошлых нескольких лет, и мы уверены, что Вы все хотели бы и заслужить объяснения распада. таким образом здесь это-..

Как и все группы, мы обнаружили некоторые "творческие различия" в пределах нашей группы. Ко всему прочему наши новые трэки вам не особо нравятся, в отличии от EP.

1. У Даны Митчела (басист) и Джоша Холлистера (барабанщик) теперь новая группа, названная «Легенда»

2. Майк (вокалист) тоже замутил новую группу – пока без названия.

3. Аарон (гитара) с Джэйком (Клавишные) и Джошем (Барабаны) пишут какой то материал, название пока не известно, но все подробности будут скоро.
