What girl can resist a guy who has an accent and a way with swords? We know we can’t! And in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, there are two cuties (double the viewing pleasure!) who possess both qualities, keeping you on the edge of your seat for the two-hour film. The story line helps too!
The Pevensie siblings are adjusting to their "normal" lives after returning from their reigns as kings and queens in Narnia. But it doesn’t seem to be a smooth transition for Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. And some Pevensies are more eager to return than others.
Before they realize it, magic has thrown them back to Narnia. They find they’re needed in order to take back the land from an evil king and restore the heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, played by Ben Barnes.
The two heroes and heartthrobs in the film, Barnes and William Moseley (Peter Pevensie), experience teen angst and self-discovery. With a small romantic plot line in the movie, it seemed only appropriate to know the 411 for the hunks in real life. Barnes said he isn’t dating anyone right now (good news for us!), and Moseley is "seeing someone special" (what a lucky gal!). Loaded with more action and adventure than the first film, the violence is minimal, keeping it age-appropriate but enough to please the action-lovers.
And if you enjoy guys with swords, you can’t hate on a girl for holding her own against a bunch of guys with her bow and arrow. Anna Popplewell, who plays Susan Pevensie, said her character actually had more action with her bow and arrow than the two hunks with their swords. That’s our kind of gal! And this is our kind of movie!
