It has been over four years since the SCARY BITCHES released
their last album "Creepy Crawlies". Since that time they have
been playing all over Europe, including Russia, WGT Leipzig and
too may other German gigs to mention, several bookings in Italy,
Switzerland, France, Benelux, Lithuania, Poland and appearances
at the Carival of Souls and Gotham festivals in the UK. This
year marks a return by popular demand to both WGT Leipzig and
Waregem. Their gig list for this year also extends as far as
Mexico.
2009 marks the tenth anniversary of the formation of the band,
and they also intend to play some shows at several smaller venues
in the UK to return to their roots. Much of their very first
material was only home studio recording quality, and has never
been officially released, so following numerous requests to hear
some of these tracks, the band have re-recorded four four of them
to include on this album.

Some of their songs might make you laugh, but they insist that
they are not a comedy band. They just write about the weird and
unpleasant side of life and death. People like to categorise
music, and as such they have been called Goth, Deathrock,
Batcave, and Post Punk. They just call themselves "The Scary
Bitches". Three women against the World!
