The letter to my long-time friend

Hi!
I am on the winter holiday in Nijnii Novgorod. My friends live here. Their names are Nataly and Igor. She is a human researches manager and he is a police officer. They have one son. His name is Aleksandr. He is a schoolboy.
Their flat is in the centre of NN. NN is very old city. It was founded in 1221. It is 788years old. NN is situated on the two big Russian rivers: the Volga and the Oka. The people are very friendly and lovely. The food is ordinary, but the music is very good. My favorite pop music group the Uma2man is from this city.
The weather is horrible now. It is wet, cold and rainy.
There are many old wooden houses, big streets and small parks in NN.
It is very expensive city, because it is situated near Moscow.

When to go
The best times to visit are the summer and the autumn. The autumn is very nice: yellow, bright and warm. In the winter it is very cold.

What to do
Go to the Kremlin – the oldest building in the city. NN has many monuments to the past. There are many nice old wooden houses in it. NN also has new theaters, cinemas, many small and big parks. The best shops are in the centre of the city. For night-life there are clubs and bars in the city.
Go to the Boldino in the autumn. Those are Pushking`s places.
Go for a walk in the wood. The very fresh air is in it.
Go to the Diveevo. Those are saint places.
People go to beaches of the Volga and the Oka in the summer.

What to eat
There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in NN, but the food is ordinary and expensive.

How to travel
There are slow and old buses and fast metro, but the best way to by car.
