Maria was a Catalan Troubadour and vocational Artist. She started to sing when she was 8 years old. Her professional origins started recording her first disc when she was 18, Canзons Occitanes (Occitan Songs). She played professional and musical theatre, radio and television. She researched into Troubadours Lyrics, Medieval Music, Renaissance, Traditional Music and Sephardic Songs; performing Concerts in these different styles. She composed part of her songs and set to music other Poets’ Poems, too. Maria reaffirmed, in her professional career, all these musical styles. Her experience became a creative and high quality labour. Her Concerts and Compositions reflect spirituality, ecological conviction, Unity and Human Value. She published more than 40 recordings, LPs and CDs, as a soloist or collaborating to collective and other artists’ discs. Her discography is the fruit of several phases all around the world of singing. Her first stage started in the Catalan movement “Nova Canзу”. Her artistic name was Dolors Laffitte. During her last years she preferred to take “Dolors” (pains) out and recuperate her name: Maria Laffitte. In her extensive artistic trajectory she created different groups. In Traditional Catalan Music: La Corranda and L’Arc en el Cel (infantile performances). In Medieval Music: Els Trobadors, Ensemble Llull and Joi de Trobar. She performed Concerts with prestigious musicians and ensembles of Ancient Music of Germany and Austria like Oni Wytars, Katharco, Unicorn and Accentus. All along her professional career she was awarded several times. She performed Concerts in different European Countries, Canada, India and Venezuela. Personal experience of her work: Maria gave herself in a vocational manner, with a faithful and sincere dedication. Her labour was an unconditional Love to the Music and Poetry. For her, Music is the mean of human evolution, a gift of the life, united with the Human being in a natural and instinctive way; Music was life, therapy, nourishment for feeling, Energy and Love for her. She expressed herself through the Music, sharing her experience with sincere feeling of service to the people and the Culture.

maxgrail, Спасибо! Мне понравилось, действительно, ощущение, что слышишь песни из далекого средневековья. Очень мягкий и нежный голос...Замечательные баллады, спасибо за ссылку.

Плерома, даже не знаю. она на многих старинных инструментах играла
