It protects the earth from ultraviolet radiation which comes from the sun. *But year by year the ozone layer becomes thinner and thinner because of industrial gases and chemical fogs coming out the new machines and developed techniques. It causes the sun rays come through the ozone layer much more and often that endangeres all people around, plants, nature and etc.* Aerosol sprays and other chemicals destroy the ozone layer. The have helped to make a huge hole in it. Now, too much ultraviolet radiation enters the Earth's atmosphere through the hole. Ultraviolet radiation can cayse skin cancer. Factories are burning oil, cool and wood and produce carbon dioxide. Volcanes, trees and animals produce natural greenhouse gases.. These have formed a blanket around the Earth. This blanket traps the hear of the sun. This is the greenhouse effect. It means the Esrth's climate is changing. The Earth is getting warmer and warmer. *It cause a future global warming which can burn many natural parts of life and change or kill or make people ill. If we want to prevent a global warming we must erase some dangerous chemicals and gases and lessen industrial production of waste and rubbish*
