07.08.2008 at 22:00 Georgia attacked South Ossetia. At 3:30 08.08.2008 tanks of the Georgian army entered the city of Tskhinvali. All day long their artillery
fired at the city, the troops used tanks and heavy weaponry both against the Ossetian army and against civilians, two thousands of whom were killed. The Russian peacemakers arrived in South Ossetia in the evening of 08.08.2008 to resolve the conflict, enforce peace in the republic and protect the Russian citizens living in South Ossetia.

Georgia attacked South Ossetia on the eve of the Olympics, showing unprecedented cruelty and cynicism.
