Buddy Holly Rave On
I’m going fucking mental here at TSID headquarters without my soundsystem. I almost never watch the telly at home, as it’s all about time in front of the computer and having the music playing as I do my thing. But as I say it’s down, and has been so for about a month and a half now, and I’m really beginning to feel the strain by only being able to play a tiny bit of music through my headphones before doing so does my head in. I guess it’s lucky for me then that Buddy Holly recordings seem to only clock around the 2min mark or less, allowing for a bit of a healthy trawl through some of the guitar legends hits before settling on todays mighty fine choice. Ranked #154 in Rolling Stone Magazines 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list too. Rave on!
And it’s a ‘big up, big up, big up,’ from me to our Rockabilly babe in residence “Sarinako,” on landing the plum job today. One for which she’d been eagerly awaiting news on for a number of days now. Rave on!
