Честно признаюсь, я долго разбиралась, где есть кто :)

The characters on this tree fall into four categories:
* Characters who are most commonly known by a Quenya name. (Finwë, Míriel, Indis, Nerdanel, Eärwen, Eldarion, and the five characters added in Shibboleth: Findis, Lalwendë, Anairë, Arakáno, and Eldalótë.) For these characters I just transcribed their Quenya name.

* Characters with at least two names, at least one of which is Quenya. In all cases I have used one of the Quenya names. When given a choice, I have picked the Quenya name which became the name used in The Silmarillion. (These names became Sindarin either by translation (Altáriel/Galadriel) or just by losing vowels and mutating consonants (Findekáno/Fingon).) Most of the Quenya names come from Shibboleth, except for Celebrimbor’s, which comes from Of Dwarves and Men in The Peoples of Middle-Earth.
The only characters who have Quenya names but no Quenya version of their most common names are Maedhros, Maeglin, Aredhel, Gil-galad, Aragorn, and (sort of) Orodreth. Three of these names are unwritable in Quenya: Quenya does not have an ae sound or a dh sound. As a result, I have used Lómion and Elessar for Maeglin and Aragorn, and names given in Shibboleth for the other four.

* Characters with a non-Quenya name whose meaning we do not actually know. Fortunately, there are only a few of these on this tree (Eöl, Tuor, Elwing, and maybe Finduilas) and all three have names that it is possible to write unambiguously in Quenya.
(If somewhat unusually; Elwing ends with the ŋ sound, which while present in Quenya as originally spoken, and which has a designated letter, had ceased being used by the Third Age, and which when it was used in Quenya only showed up at the start of words.)
Elrond’s immediate family (Elrond, Celebrían, Arwen, Elladan, and Elrohir.) It is actually impossible to write Elladan and Celebrían in Quenya; if you try, you get things that look like Ellandan and Celembrían.

* Fortunately, we know what all five of these names mean (starry vault, silver crowned-woman, noble maiden, elf-man, and elf-horselord). Therefore, we can translate all of them into Quenya. I have translated them as Elerondo, Telperiën, Artanis, Elatan, and Eleroquen. (Artanis is one of Galadriel’s names. We know that the Quenya form of Elros is Elerossë; oddly, Shibboleth does not give us the Quenya form of Elrond.)
(We don't have to make up a Quenya form of Celeborn, which is similarly unwritable. When Shibboleth was written, Tolkien was thinking of Celeborn as a Telerin elf instead of a Sinda. So he needed to have a name in (Telerin) Quenya, and Tolkien gives it to us. I used that name. I did not make it up. Really.)
