Get out of here!" Good Charlotte lead singer Joel is yelling when I stepped into their dressing room on the BRAVO SUPERSHOW in Berlin.
But then he's laughing loudly and says:"No, just kidding. Sit down, my brother's coming."
Then his twin brother Benji enters the room.. SO let the show begin.

Bravo:How are you?
Joel:Great! Haven't felt this good in a long time.
Benji: After the last album Joel's relationship ended. He was really down.
Joel: I wrote the pain down in the songs for the new album.

Br: Do you have a girlfriend again, Joel?
J: Nope, right now, I think it's just cool meeting girls and having fun. Benji has a girlfriend right now.
B: Yeah, it's always like that with us. When one is single, the other has a girlfriend.

Br: Are you in every things so different?
J: We are like angel and devil, life and death- honestly!

Br: And who's what?
B: Joel is the religious guy. His house looks like a lil church from inside. Everywhere are Jesus figures, his angel paintings are on his walls and stuff like this.
J: In Benji's house, everything's very dark. Everywhere are candles and scary music-like in a horror movie. It's like a haunted mansion.

Br: Your tattoos are very different too!
J: Yes. Benji likes colourful tattoos. His whole body is covered already. I prefer dark tattoos.

Br: But you are very close, aren't you?
B: Of course! Sometimes we just look at each other and know what the other one is thinking. Some people don't understand this.
J: When we are seperated it is very hard for us...

Br: How long you can stand being separated from each other?
B: In the last two years the longest we were apart was two weeks. But when we don't see each other, we talk very often on the phone.

Br: What can't you stand about the other?
J: He's always late- it's annoying.
B: And you can't listen...

Br: Stop bitching.. Or-- Are you like this this the whole time?
B: Every day! And I'm always the guilty one...
J: .. he's very often in a bad mood or he provokes me with something dumb- then I freak out.. and we fight.

BR: ... I didn't get that part heh
B: Yeah I'm the smartest. The others see me as the leader of the band. (grins)
J: Yeah he takes charge, he knows what the band wants, and makes sure that happens. He's our protector.
B: No one takes advantage of us. I'll make sure of that.
