For 3 months I have been so looking forward to my trip to Moscow... and it went by so fast that it seems like being there was only my imagination. That said, it was one of the best trips I have ever been on. Granted, my Russian is still pretty poor but at least this time I was able to go about the city on my own, get directions, sightsee, dine, etc etc. I am really glad that I kept in touch with Natasha (albeit on and off) over the past 2 years... It did not take but a minute together at the pub for me to realise that I will always count her as one of my true friends. I must say that I had the most fun of the trip with her and those insane friends of hers:D -After all, who else can introduce me to drunk ninjas, motorcycle racers, hussies, and drunkards all while wearing a Syrian mens dress???

I must say that it is difficult to come back to my boring, small city now.... I hope that soon Sasha will be able to get her visa and we will be able to make in back to Moscow in time for Nat and Dima's next theme party

Just returned from 5 days in Florida... it was supposed to be for work but I ended up staying out until 3 or 4 am every day, and getting up at 730 am. I need a vacation from my vacation.

Well, yesterday passed quickly even though I have been dreading it for a long while. I turned 30... it seemed depressing for so long but when the day finally arrived it did not seem much different than any other birthday. Still, it just sucks that I am not twenty-something anymore. I think Sasha made it less depressing because we spent the day together, that coupled with the fact that I drank about 5 pints of Stella (I can thank Nat for introducing me to my now favorite beer) and 2 Jager bombs at my favorite Irish pub:) I vaguley remember the end of the night where I was making a complete ass of myself, but I guess you are allowed to on your birthday...

Well, I have nothing spectacular to write because my brain is pickled from a very, very long night of drinking... the bellydancer was decent but not superb, the wine, however, was exquisite.
