Дебютным синглом со второй пластинки Franz Ferdinand, которая, как мы помним, также будет одноименная, станет песня Do You Want To.

Вокалист шотландской группы Алекс Капранос рассказал в интервью NME, что песня была написана по мотивам алкогольного хэнг-аута в родном для Franz Ferdinand Глазго.

"Однажды мы отправились на вечеринку в Глазго, — говорит Капранос. — Люди на таких мероприятиях друг с другом не разговаривают, потому что музыка играет очень громко, — они просто орут друг друг в уши. Когда я вернулся домой в тот вечер, то в ушах еще звенело, ну, и я записал кое-какие вещи, что мне орали. Некоторые из них были реально смешными".
