2. Lily Donaldson
The beautiful wide-eyed British supermodel was born to an arty north London family; her father is a still-life photographer, her mother used to design jewellery. Lily began modeling when she was 16; discovered by a model scout when she was walking around Camden market.
In 2005 she was nominated as "Best Model of the year" at the British Fashion Awards, photographed by just about every major fashion photographer and star in campaigns for some of the biggest fashion labels such as: Christian Dior, Jil Sander, Burberry and many more, she was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier for the 2008 Pirelli Calendar, all of which means that in a period of 4 years Lily had become as one of the new generation of supermodels.While she is one of the most photographed models, appearing in numerous magazines covers, campaigns, gracing all of fashion's biggest shows, still Lily remain untouched by it all. The 20 year old beauty is still close to her homely roots. Her family is her anchor and haven; she even has her mother & sister's names tattooed on her wrist in Lily's own round-elegant handwriting.
As many of her other beautiful colleagues, Lily loves her work; the traveling, the circus-like life with the different looks & costumes and the story-telling through them. Her classical soft beauty and personality truly makes her shine.
