Classic is a MEP by the german community amvde. It was created by 11 editors between August and October and premiered at Connichi 2016. The main theme was summer, romance and girls. We chose a pretty straight forward song and focused mainly on the mood. Throughout the whole process we worked together very closely on all stages. This was a great experience since most of us never worked together on a MEP before. We hope you enjoy!

Комментарий авторов: Heeey guys! Like every year we participated in an AMV contest for the AniNite - which is an Austrian anime convention! We had a few technical issues to deal with (Vegas was really terrible this time) and almost didn't make it in time - thank God we did finish it then! With this video, we wanted to express that even after a loved one's death, it is best to let go of your sadness and live on. That's exactly what the person who died would want you to do, to become happy again. Thus, it is perfectly okay to fall in love once more. We still cant believe we got 1st place and also the crowd pleaser price! Thank you so so much to the great audience at the Aninite! Комментарий автора: I had a lot of hassles or other issues with this video. I wanted to steer away from cosplay and that area of fandom to try and differentiate this video from Otaku Paradise, and had other videos that have used live action to great effect that I didn't want to feel like I was doing something too similar either. I was orginally going to just do an old school toonami anime nostalgia trip and remembered the The Absolution Flies On did that so I needed to change the scope to avoid that as well.
Also, being limited to stock footage I really couldn't do what I wanted to do with this video and the final shape ended up becoming more of a commercially weeby multi anime video. Which is what I was kinda steering for to begin with, but just wish I had some different live action sequences that could have sealed it together just a tad better.

Hey there, this is my video for this years Connichi AMV Contest. This song is about love, responsibility, couples, God, God and God. Don't worry if you don't really get the lyrics, it's mainly a fun song about a guy who's scared of a solid relationship. I hope you can have some fun with it. It was mainly done to be a crowd pleaser at the Connichi, because I was too lazy to edit something cool and awesome.
Fun fact: My wedding was 1 month after I've made this video ¦>

I wanted to use one of my currently favorite songs. My amv-friends who also visited Connichi in september found it kinda awkward that I was using this song...guess 'Schlager' is not for everyone (just for those who drink enough haha).

It was pretty hard to find the time and motivation to make this and I rushed sooooo many things, so I'm not 100% happy with it buuuuut it's still ok lol. Hope you guys like it ^^

Комментарий автора: The idea for this popped into my head while first watching kisanzi's "Scrumtrulescent Smorgasbord". I hadn't seen Gourmet Girl Graffiti before, so the exaggerated eating sequences instantly made Weird Al's "Eat It" come to mind. Coupled with seeing Mycathatesyou's "Fun Fun Yum Yum" in close proximity, the idea of doing a Food Wars/Gourmet Girl Graffiti video to Eat It was cemented in my head. Along the way, I added a few extra sources here and there for some extra gags.

Комментарий автора: Hello there. Here it is! the AMV for Abunai Beyond the stars 2016! I've been working on this for months, the deadline was at 29th of July, i started with this project at 27th of March... First off i had to watch the ENTIRE Clannad Series, and i was in a hurry because i had to edit the AMV as well too, so i was watching around 8 episodes a day, so if you have already seen the anime itself, you know how much i might have cried of the misery and sadness in the anime D: After that, i started editing the entire AMV on the 3rd of May, and it was alot, of struggle, and fighting, and pushing on to the limit alot of AE composition works too XD But all the hard work paid off, and im really happy with that! my idea was to get in the top 3 this year, but instead i made a bump to the 1st place! which is really great! So after all the hard work, and going insane, i present to you: Otherside! I hope you'll enjoy the video, and if you were at the AMV Compo, you enjoyed the video! Thank you!
