Комментарий автора: so it took me this long to watch Perfect Blue and i'm ashamed.
Halfway through editing this video, I remembered that there was a vid with a similar concept last year (Nozomi by Artofeel) and truly panicked haha. thank god it looks like we went different routes in editing it, otherwise i would have just abandoned the idea. I heard Hozier's new song and /rushed/ to get this done before anyone else did this combo. I cut a ton out of the song including an entire chorus in order to hopefully build up the tension.
Had a hard time categorizing this - went with Character Profile because the song is meant to be from his perspective

I chose the scene cut from 2018's wonderful anime and made it into a MAD. I originally wanted to make a generic MAD, plain and simple. But in the end I chose a fast song, so in my head it is full of SHiNY SWORD MY DiAMOND... SHiNY SWORD MY DiAMOND... shines. I hope you can see it.

Originally I was going to make this a Izuku and All Might parental relationship video but ended up being a tribute to mostly All Might and people he helped and influenced as a teacher. I thought the song also suited him in sense that All Might always put so much effort forward and that he never thought enough was never enough even with his limited time left. And he should Cherish whats in front of him while he can. Anyways I hope you all enjoy!

Hey so i got wicked into South Park last year and wanted to make something crazy for AWA Pro.
Few quick notes:
- the intro was honestly an excuse to cut the song and i blatantly put minimal effort into it i'm gomen
- the "I'm clever" is because the lyric is "on your property in V formation" and i found a scene that matches it perfectly and i demand praise.
- there is a tooooon of references to the show but hopefully the lyric sync still shows without context
- i used legit like 100 episodes i'm never doing a project this big again
- i would die for my son kenny

I think this is one of the hardest editing work that I ever made. Part of it is because I try and divide the story into different parts plus the all the flashbacks scenes and try to in-cooperating in real life scene, which I don't really know if that's a good fit for animation work or not. The other part is due to the intriguing way of storytelling on the anime side, I think they tried to tell a story of love and war through the eyes of an immortal species of human, but the main focus is kind of blurry drifting from the growth of protagonist to a more serious subject of conflict of nation and forced marriage of the kingdom that wants to harness the immortal power.
Anyways, I hope you guys can enjoy this and 'Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou', as always feel free to leave your comments or any advice below. Thanks for watching.

Комментарий автора: My entry for the AniNite AMV-Contest 2018, it has reached the 3rd Place at the Pros.
For me, I´m really proud of my creation! Cuz... I tried something new...to work more with Twixtor, cuz when I heard this Song I directly know to use this Anime in combination with this Track and because of this Song, which is more slow and mystic... I knew ...that I want to try a concept with Twixtor, to main-focus at slowmotion.
It was really hard to work with all my ideas(effects, CC, character profile, bit story...) and put this all together to try to harmonize...
Personally,...I think... I succeeded quite well. It looks maybe simple... but it was a lot of work and many many...many hours!(or many days)
