I could have come from a place with views much richer than I knew since childhood. Snowy peaks or endless shores of an ocean could have tormented the passionate eye of a stranger who would come to our site, but there are none of this. Our nature is good for ones seeking solitary confinement of the spirit or reunion with the long forgotten values of our ancestors. Pine shores of the Baltic Sea give enough calmness and silence to forget all the troubles and deepen into you.
I grew together with the nature around me. As it always happens to people living in one place for a long time, the soul fulfils with character of the surrounding nature, making it a part of your own. It seems to me that the monotonous peace of plains and calmness of the sea entered my heart the moment I was born.
Few years ago I decided to abandon my home to see the world. There was a moment in my life when I realized how big the World is. It was terrifying for me to think that I can miss so many opportunities in my life. Then I realized the hunger to understand the world and its basis. I wanted to see it, to feel it, to posses the world just like it saw, felt and possessed me. A man should share the nature’s power over himself in order to see. Once the understanding of this fact penetrates into ones mind it overwhelms all other thoughts and processes. The thoughts and judgments of others, morality and prejudice become so vain. I don’t understand fears of those who are afraid of public opinions and social laws of behaviour. It’s hard to feel like this. I can’t just stay at one place. Something inside makes me move forward leaving friends, home and family in the past. So what is my occupation now – to seek the answers to the unknown questions.
I see the life as a path which changes with every step we take. What we do now resounds on every inch of the path. How can there be any plans for the future if I am already walking the road of life?
