Thank you for the birthday wishes for my younger son. Time does fly by fast and it is hard to believe it is 3 years already. Having children seems great, but it is a very large amount of work and can be the biggest challenge of one’s life. Your own personal time becomes nearly non-existent at the beginning when they are young. There are no days off when you have them, even when you are sick. Expect many sleepless nights between the ages of 0-3 years. Feeding, bathing, putting clothes on, playing, entertaining, meals. When they are older, you also have to prepare for school, homework, activities…There are also the battles between the brothers over who gets to play with which toys. However, after all that, it is worth it when they look into your eyes and give you a smile with big hug.
Winter does not want to go away from here either. It is -7 C right now and they are calling for more snow in the next couple of days (ugg)!
Please say privet to your mother and brother for me.
