Love is in the Gigantic Rocks
If you’re thinking about tying the virtual knot, JCNY has some rather fabulous engagement and wedding ring sets, one of which JD Hansen was kind enough to share with me. The Juliet set is generous, and comes with an engagement band, wedding ring, engagement and wedding combo and indeed a gent’s wedding band. All are transfer to cover the obvious logistic issues, and all are big and beautiful enough to announce to the world in general from a good distance that you are well spoken for.
The rings are loaded with scripts; when your beloved slips the ring on her finger, a huge cloud of hearts appears, along with a short message which you can pre-program. The ring is set to bling like a lighthouse beacon, but this is very easy to switch off, and allows you to see the work on the rings much more clearly.
[показать]The primwork is quite impressive; the engagement ring featuring a brilliant cut round diamond to the centre, with tiny jewel surrounds. The shoulders are split into delicate strands, each dotted with stones that are connected in wire circles, working a simple weave of bands to the back of the finger. The wedding band is composed of sparkling stones channel set into the metal, providing a simple but pretty alternative to the normal solid ring. The two work very well when paired together, but you can choose to wear separately. If you aren’t getting married but still like the look, then you can happily edit these to sit on other fingers.I mentioned the scripting on the ring before, but didn’t tell you that this is fully customisable so you can change the gemstone and metal colours. It’s an intelligent menu system: click and follow the simple onscreen instructions. So easy you could pick it up by accident. So if platinum and diamond isn’t to your taste, you do have the option of creating your own take on a classic.
I found the same scripting active in the ‘Queen of Hearts’ jewellery set, which is a nice gift for your beloved if you’re not quite ready to march down the aisle. The set comes as standard with ruby hearts, but I switched mine to the ‘NYC Smoke’ colour although I left the platinum chain untouched. Bling was easy to switch off, although from the instruction card enclosed I understand that anyone who likes their sparklies to blind passers by can actually change the ray settings. So after photographing tons of my lingerie, and then Eloh skin mods, I found out something, I kept coming back to ALT poses. These are like freaking perfect for showcasing clothing and the body. They really call attention to the item being shown on a body. But then again, lol, of course Ana would make them that way wouldn’t she, and she certainly knows what shes doing. If you are seriously spending tons of time in your Photosphere, and have turned into a pose whore, you best pick up the collection they’re a great addition. Here ’s a threesome I recently snapped, I will be showing off some more when I post on Photosphere, Skins, and other unpublished posts lurking about. I have been using them quite often and they have really become a staple. I have created a red and a blonde version of Deena Fair.
The redhead has full body freckles, none of this light smattering across the nose stuff [показать] She also has red brows, and pubic hair. These makeups do not come without freckles. The red makeups are earthy, in oranges and greens.

[показать]I cant resist. There's one of the most awesomestestest boots coming out soon over at Sinistyle and I figured i'd wet your palette a lil showing them off to you. I generally cringe when people show sneak peeks at items that are not yet released but in this case.. I cant help it. Word on the streets... and by streets i mean SL.. and by word I mean directly from the creators pixel lips... that there is a plain version without buckles as well and they are just as sexy as these. But... im a buckle girl so naturally i flocked to these moreso than the others.
These boots are named Deception and are beautifully sculpted sleek leather boots with the chunky heel and sole. I really cant seem to bring out the details in the pictures but lemme tell you.. they're hot!! No word as to when exactly they will be out, but they will be worth the wait I can promise you that. :)
So yea... that concludes my teasing. I shall now crawl back into the hole from whence I came. or something like that. haha

Few days ago in New York Times, i've found this coolio article about color of the year which has been choosen every year by Pantone's Institute, well known by its pantone matching system used mostly in painting industry but spreading on other desgin areas as well. Last year's color no.1 was red chilli paper, which doesnt suprises me since this color affected fashion industry of texture and its colors, spreading further more on this year's rl and sl collections. Some designers within SL "snuffed" new color 2008. - Iris Blue - my first preimages of this color is power of the future, beauty of nite, straight forward power/strenght, almost insolently tending to mistique of its inconsistency. Gianni Broda as one of my favorite SL drawers is my favorite one just because of her choice of powerful, shameless colors and her jumpsuits btw too. Her tailor short pants worked for me just fine in my tending to be sexy/trashy cop, with combo of Last Call blouse from police part of halloween collection of costumes, hat, belt and upper leg knife set from Bare Rose (have this feeling if and when you need some piece in-world, you re gonna find it in there), PARADISIS socks and Gutterblood future soldier boots.

Double Paradox & Aphrodite Shoozy Newness
I visited both stores at Aventi Islands before I logged off last night and picked up this gorgeous free 'Henry' top and a 10L skirt in the Serendipity store. There are also freebs in the YumYum store which I have previously blogged.
This Serendipidty 'Diamond Handle' skirt comes in 2 colours, black and reddish brown and has a belt that actually fits, this is a major big deal..YAY!!!!!! The socks worn are a freebie from M-C-H, they come in 3 colours. I wasn't sure if they quite match with the outfit but who gives a shiat... I love them. There is also a couple of other cute 1L items in this store.

[500x417]So when I logged on today, I excitedly unpacked the Double Paradox group gift boxes. My gawwwd, girls....this YumYum skirt is byoootiful, it's called 'Dreaming of Saturday'. When I opened the Serendipity box, I received these pretty Sakura stockings which are fishnet effect with a little flower on the ankle and lo and behold, they match perfectly with the skirt

These are the 'Vintish' shoe, I love the shape of these shoes. I would prance about in them RL and put them on a shelf to stare at adoringly.

Glam For Gloom
I got really tired of looking at the gloomy grey skies in RL of late and decided to exchange the RL gloom for some SL glam!
Unfortunately, today is a perfectly normal Tuesday with nothing fabulous on the agenda that would justify my need for glam, so I opted for a daytime look instead. This little gold sequinned number suited my purposes perfectly; its glam yet it has an element of sweetness with the cute silk ribbon around the hips and the demure neckline. In order to mitigate the super-mini skirt I simply added opaque black tights and then echoed the black on the arms as well. I finished by sticking my feet in a pair of chunky sandals, also in black to kind of “close the circle”.
Chunkier winter sandals are prevalent in RL fashion just now (perfect for stocking-glad feet) and I would LOVE to see some SL versions from our talented shoe designers. I’m wearing the Lolas from Shiny Things, one of my all-time favourites, and they are still the only ones out there as far as I could tell. I’m thinking heavier leather straps, perhaps some studs and definitely a small platform. Please! Pretty Please! [показать]

More Stellar Designs
I blogged some short skirts from Stellar Designs the other day but as owner Lexi Morgan sent some things that aren’t short skirts my way, I thought I’d bring them out for a quick show as well. Here you see Ravishing, which really is ravishing. The top is finely textured and features a sculpted neck that I love. In fact, I plan to wear the top a lot with jeans and other skirts, it’s that nice. Ravishing comes with two lengths of skirt as you see. The flexi strip longer skirt has just enough flexi to look good when walking, not flappy like some skirts. The mini skirt is fantastic. Ravishing comes in two colors that I saw, Crimson and Smoke and will set you back only L$425.If you’re looking for something that is a lot of fun and is exquisitely made, and frankly, who isn’t, take a look at the next two items, Sugarplum, the ballerina outfit, and Vinyl Vamp, an incredible skirt in latex. Both of these get the Fannie stamp of approval for quality, creativity and workmanship.
Sugarplum’s textures and details are simply striking. I hope the picture shows enough detail so that you can get a flavor of how well executed this design is. Many “costumes” in Second Life are either rush jobs or done by enthusiastic fans of whatever the costume is about rather than designers. With Sugraplum you get a wonderful dance costume executed by a talented designer. I danced back in the day in real life, and would have loved to have this for a recital. I ‘ll have to find a Second Life dance company to join, or a fan who wants to watch me dance, because this is far too good a piece of clothing to get tucked back into my inventory and forgotten. Seriously, dancers, get down to Stellar Designs and take a look at this. It’s L$400, for all that you see here.
Now the real hot stuff in this review is Vinyl Vamp. Take a look at it and you’ll see what I mean because this picture is worth at least 1000 words. The skirt’s execution with the guipure hem on the boned vinyl is just lovely and beautifully made. The color scheme and execution of the nearly reflective vinyl seals the deal. Vinyl Vamp is L$400 and in my humble opinion worth every penny.

Dou is from Sweden and Ash is from the Netherlands, they’re big fun to hang out with, we do that a lot at the Rock.
I wanted to interview them about their RL romantic meeting and I was honored when they said yes, and OMG it was like talking to one person!
So I invited them to my place.

Holy cow! You broke our freebie!
OK I had no idea the free Mint Fairy Tale Fantasy gown was going to draw such a crowd of savy shoppers to The Body Politik.(58 of you at one point!) Anyway, after a few moments my give free script apparently commited suicide from being clicked on so much and decided to stop delivering, even after multpile resets. So, I moved the dress into a regular box prim and set it for $1 linden for now, which seems to have solved the problem. I'm sorry for anyone who wasn't able to get the dress earlier but you should be able to go back now and grab it for $1 linden. I guess I wanted to start today’s post with a personal announcement. First off I appolgize for taking most of December off it was a crazy month with holidays, mom visiting, my birthday,New Years oh and one more tiny thing…. I got married! Toneless and I at the last minute decided to scrap the wedding planning and eloped in Vegas on New Years Eve. It was really fun and I didn’t really want a traditional wedding anyway. So that should explain a little of why I’ve been away. I did manage to put together this outfit over the weekend I think it might be a nod to the fact that I’m tired of jackets and sweaters.
I started with the Hot Addiction dress from Decoy. This is the cutest denim dress and while it is nice on it’s own it also begs to be dressed up or down. I decided to dress it down with the Cubic effect Full Sculpted Jacket from —— this is a full prim jacket and it took a little stretching to make it fit right, but it was totally worth it to be able to wear all 4 layers. I love the rough worn in texture and I think this definately going to be a staple in my inventory.
I also added the Lulu boy beater in black from Celestial Studios just to add an extra layer. Last I added the big pink belt from Love,Aly for a pop of color. You know I have to have extra color and these belts are one of my favorite ways to add it. If you haven’t picked these up yet you definately should.
I’m wearing the Sassy shoes in black velvet from Maitreya minus the ankle bows. As much as I love those bows they were a tiny bit too dressy for this outfit. On my left Lily bangle (pink) and on my right arm I have on the lulu4 (Pink). I love the multiple chain necklace from Yummy I can’t remember if I’ve worn it before in a post but it’s one of my favorites. For some reason it just strikes me as something I could easily wear in rl and sometimes sl jewelry doesn’t feel that way.
I’ve had the Ashley hair from ETD ever since it came out, but I think I’ve only worn it one or 2 times. I am not sure why now that I see it on I really like it and it’s a great time to pick up all the ETD hair you missed out on with her big sale. The skin I have on is the Deviant Nation Celestial Ethereal Vogue Skin from Celestial Studios. I know that I wear this skin alot but to me it just seems like a great casual skin that fits a lot of different looks.
