Port Lligat, Summer 1961. Dali posing in his workshop with his Dioscures Helmet created for his conference at Ecole Polytechnique of Paris the 12th of December of the same year. On the background, the swan represent Zeus, Leda's lover, mother of Hélène sister of Castor and Pollux, the divine gemelus. During his conference, Dali identified himself as Castor, and Gala, whose first name is Elena as Hélène.
