I think, it's also a part playing in his hesitation of confessing to you: he wants to make sure, that what he has are TRUE feelings. I believe, deep down inside, he does not want to hurt you by hurrying into things...

He might have some arrhythmia, but the problem was, he did not have anything on his EKG, so we scheduled him for his next visit following week.

He would have to wear Holter for a day.  Holter monitoring is carrying a small recording device with electrodes attached to the heart externally.

Hopefully, we'd see something on the strip...

Надо немного подождать... А если ничего не изменится в одну - две недели, то, на самом деле, лучше прекратить самоистязание...

Но как мне кажется, всё должно разрешиться, так или иначе, в 2х недельный срок...
