August 14, 1955: Elvis attended Jim Ed, Bonnie and Maxine Brown’s parents 25th wedding anniversary party in Gladewater, Texas. The Browns were a popular and loved country music singing group consisting of siblings. Elvis and the Browns were booked together on numerous tours in 1954 and 1955. Elvis loved the Browns and the Browns loved Elvis. Along with Elvis, the Browns are also members of the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
