С 11 по 15 марта 2013 года состоялись соревнования горнострелковых подразделений «Эдельвейс рейд 2013» участниками которых стали Австрия, Германия, Бельгтя, Польша, Чехия, Монтенегро (Черногория), Нидерланды.

The Edelweiss Raid is a competition for European Mountain soldiers and runs from Monday 11th March 2013 to Friday, 15th March 2013 and is run by the 6th Jägerbrigade of the Austrian Army.
This year, teams from 9 countries took part in the competition, and besides the Austrian soldiers who were defending the title, teams from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic,France, Montenegro and the Netherlands also took part.
