This stitch is done in multiples of 8 + 5

To Start

ch in multiples as mentioned above, if you are planning on making a scarf I recommend chaining 256 + 5 = 261

Row 1

sc 2^nd ch from the hook, sc into next 3 sts. * Ch 4, skip 4, sc in next 4 sts * repeat until end of row. You should end with 4 single crochets.

Row 2

Grab your next color and chain the same multiples you used before. If you chained 261, then do so again with the new color.

sc 2^nd ch from the hook, sc into next 3 sts. * Ch 4, weave your chain from the back and through the ch 4 space on previous row, skip 4 sts and sc in the next 4 sts * repeat until end of row. You should end with 4 single crochets.

Repeat row 2 until desired size is reached.

For my scarf I did 10 rows total.
