GARTER ST (worked in the round):
1 ridge = 2 rounds. * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.

TOP:
Worked in the round on circular needle, top down. 
Cast on 98-98-98-154-154-154 sts on circular needle SIZE 5.5 mm/US 9 / US 9 with Big Merino. Work A.1 (= 14 repetitions of A.1 in width - see markings for your size). When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 266-294-322-350-406-434 sts on needle. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE Continue with A.2 until piece measures 17-18-20-21-23-25 cm / 6 3/4"-7"-8"-8 1/4"-9"-9 3/4". Now work as follows: Work 38-42-46-50-58-62 sts (= half back piece), slip the next 57-63-69-75-87-93 sts on stitch holder (= sleeve), cast on 7-7-7-7-9-9 new sts, work the next 76-84-92-100-116-124 sts (= front piece), slip the next 57-63-69-75-87-93 sts on stitch holder (= sleeve), cast on 7-7-7-7-9-9 new sts, work the last 38-42-46-50-58-62 sts (= half back piece) = 166-182-198-214-250-266 sts.

BODY: 
= 166-182-198-214-250-266 sts. NOW MEASURE THE PIECE FROM HERE. Continue with A.2, work the new sts in the sides K when working K and P when working P. When piece measures 3 cm / 1'', inc 1 st in each side of the 7-7-7-7-9-9 new sts in each side, repeat inc every 2 cm / 3/4'' 5-6-7-8-9-10 more times = 190-210-230-250-290-310 sts. Continue with 10 repetitions of A.2. When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, work A.3 one time over all repetitions of A.2 = 210-230-250-270-310-330 sts. 

Size S-M-L-XL: Work 3 repetitions of A.4 in height, then work A.5 1 time in height over all repetitions of A.4 = 230-250-270-290 sts. Continue with A.6 until piece measures 37-37-38-39 cm / 14½"-14½"-15"-15 1/4" (54-56-58-60 cm / 21 1/4"-22"-22 3/4"-23½" in total). Loosely bind off.

SIZE XXL and XXXL: Work A.4 until piece measures 39-39 cm / 15 1/4"-15 1/4" (62-64 cm / 24½"-25 1/4'' in total). Loosely bind off.

SLEEVE EDGE: 
Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Slip sts from stitch holder back on double pointed needles SIZE 5.5 mm/US 9 / US 9 and pick up 1 st in each of the 7-7-7-7-9-9 sts under sleeve = 64-70-76-82-96-102 sts. Work 3 ridges in GARTER ST while on first round with K dec 6-8-10-12-22-24 sts evenly = 58-62-66-70-74-78 sts. Bind off. Work the other sleeve edge the same way.
