Маркус Герартс Младший (ок. 1561, Брюгге - 1636, Лондон) - фламандский живописец. Провел свои первые годы в Брюгге (Бельгия), где его отец, Маркус Герартс Старший (ок. 1525 - до 1591) работал художником. В возрасте  семи лет переезжает с семьей в Лондон.

Переехав в Англию,  Маркус Герартс Младший  пишет свои картины в мастерской отца, половина которой принадлежала художнику Исааку Оливеру и впоследствии добился значительного успеха как портретист при дворе Елизаветы I и Якова I. По сравнению с натянутыми и официальными образами в полотнах отца его портреты более реалистичны, но тем не менее в них тщательно изображены мельчайшие детали и драпировки тканей.

Герартс получил работу в Английском суде, где писал портреты и выполнял отделочные работы. Он был самым уважаемым и самым модным портретистом в 1590 гг. при королеве Елизавете и Джеймсе I, но попал в немилость жене Джеймса Анны после 1617 года.

Герартс скончался 19 января 1636 года в Лондоне.
