- Seed beads 11/0 (or Delica beads 11/0)
- Seed beads 15/0
- Pearl 4 mm. (or crystal 4 mm.)
- Nymo or your favorite thread
- Needle

My bar and ring toggle are very similar to Laura McCabe's version.

Bar

1.

On the comfortable length of thread, add fourteen 11/0 seed beads.

You can +/- the number of seed beads as you see fit for your bracelet. But keep it even number for easy peyote.

Working peyote stitch back to your first bead.

Make twelve rows. Or you can count six beads on both sides.

Zip the first row to the last row together. You will get the tube. Feel free to sew back again to tighten the zip.

Now we add the embellishments at both ends. Actually, it is your choice how you make them. Most people love to add beads fringe with one 4mm bicone or pearl and three seed beads. But here is mine.

Coming out of one of the seed bead at the end of the tube, add one pearl and sew to the opposite seed bead.

Sew to the next seed bead at the end of the tube. Add three 15/0 seed beads and sew to the next end seed bead of the tube. Repeat adding three 15/0 around the tube.

After you made three sets around the tube. Sew to the next seed bead and first 15/0 seed bead (red arrows).

Add one 15/0 seed bead (red arrow). Sew to the 15/0 seed bead of the previous set and to the seed bead of the tube (blue arrows). Sew to the next seed bead and repeat this step to fill the remaining two gaps with 15/0 seed bead.

You will get a cute flower at the end of the tube. Sew back into the tube and make the embellishment at the other end.

Sew to the center bead of the tube and make the tab to connect to your bracelet.

The tab is also your choice. You can weave it with peyote or right angle weave.

Ring

On the comfortable length of thread. Make a ring of thirty eight 11/0 seed beads. The number of seed beads here can be +/- as you see fit with your bar.

Begin peyote stitch with 11/0 seed beads around the ring.

Sew to the inner bead and add another two rows of peyote with 15/0 seed beads.

You can stop here if you need something flat. But make sure your beads are secure to each other.

Make another row of peyote with 11/0 seed beads.

5.

Repeat another row of peyote with 11/0 seed beads.

Then, another row of peyote 11/0 seed beads.

Do not worry if your 11/0 seed beads look bend, we zip them in the next step.

Zip the two sides together. You can sew them again to hold your ring tight.

Make a tab to connect your ring to your bracelet. Again the choice of stitch is yours.
