Pattern: See diagram M1 to M.4. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.
Edge: 4 cm stocking st, P 1 round (= folding edge, measure piece from here), 4 cm stocking st.

Front and back piece: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 156-160-164 sts on needle size 3.5 mm with off-white and work Edge. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in M.1, at the same time inc 40-44-48 sts evenly on first round = 196-204-212 sts. Remember the knitting tension! After M.1 continue in off-white for 2.5-3-3 cm. Now divide the piece in two and complete each piece separately (divided before armhole, so cast on 1 new st each side for seam).

Front piece: = 100-104-108 sts. Continue in M.4 on the middle 56 sts with off-white either side. At the same time when piece measures 22-24-24 cm cast off 3 sts each side for armhole and dec to shape the armhole on every other row: 1 st 2-3-2 = 90-92-94 sts. After M.4 work 5.5-6-6 cm off-white, M.2 (beg by arrow), and then 3 rows off-white, at the same time cast off the middle 32-32-32 sts for neck. After 3 rows off-white work M.3, at the same time dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 2 times. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 52-54-54 cm.

Back piece: 100-104-108 sts. Continue in pattern and dec for armhole as described for front piece, but work off-white stocking st instead of M.4. When piece measures 50-52-52 cm cast off the middle 36-36-36 sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 52-54-54 cm.

Sleeve: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 36-38-40 sts on double pointed needle size 3.5 mm with off-white and work Edge. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in M.1, at the same time inc 12-12-10 sts evenly on first round = 48-50-50 sts. After M.1 continue in off-white. At the same time after the Edge inc 2 sts mid under arm on every * 3rd and 4th * round alternately a total of 27-27-27 times = 102-104-104 sts. When piece measures 40-40-40 cm work M.2 (make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve), 3 rounds off-white, M.3, and then complete piece in off-white. At the same time when piece measures 48-48-48 cm cast off 8 sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Dec for sleeve cap each side on every other row: 6 sts 4 times, cast off. Piece measures approx 52-52-52 cm.

Assembly: Sew shoulder and side seams. Pick up 90 sts round neckline on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with off-white and work 2 cm Edge, cast off. Fold all edges double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves, sew in outer loops of sts to avoid a chunky seam.
