Andy Shore is a self taught artist, born in Nottinghamshire, but has lived in Leicestershire for most of his life. Painting since 1987, his most practiced media is watercolour, however, he does enjoy painting in other mediums such as oils, pastels and acrylics. His subject matter is very diverse but he has a passion for painting subjects such as townscapes, seascapes and motor art.

Currently working at DeMontfort University Leicester as a technical instructor in Art and Design, Andy has previously worked for Team Lotus Formula 1 as a model maker in aerodynamics, as a scenic artist for a theming company and also with the retstoration of historic racing cars. To date, Andy has had 3 one-man exhibitions, The Jane Powell Gallery, Kenilworth; The Frog & Mouse Gallery, Leicester and at DeMontfort University, Leicester. His work has also been published in a number of books and magazines.

Andy is a member of Leicester Sketch Club and performs at demonstrations and workshops for art societies. Andy now lives in a small rural Leicestershire village with his wife and his two teenage children.    источник
