Finished Size 18" wide and 57" long.

Yarn Shibui Knits Silk Cloud (60% kid mohair, 40% silk; 330 yd [300 m]/0.88 oz [25 g]):

#2035 fog, 2 skeins (see Notes).

Needles Size 6 (4 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Tapestry needle.

Gauge 21 sts and 27 rows = 4" in Open Diamond chart patt.

NOTES

This scarf is worked back and forth in rows from the bottom up.

The sample scarf used almost all of two skeins of yarn. Consider purchasing an extra skein as insurance.

SCARF

Using the knitted method, CO 150 sts.

Work Rows 1-30 of Vine Leaf Border chart once—95 sts rem.

Work Rows 1-14 of Open Diamond chart once, then rep Rows 3-14 of chart until piece measures about 56" from CO, ending with Row 14 of chart.

Next row (RS) Sl 1 kwise wyb, knit to end.

Rep last row 7 more times. Using Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy method, BO all sts.
