The third event of the 2011 WSOP, the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo drew 925 players, which made it the biggest Omaha Hi-Lo tournament ever played.  The only Omaha Hi-Lo event that even comes close is last year’s WSOP Omaha Hi-Lo event that attracted 818 players.  This year’s field of 925 players combined to create a prizepool worth $1.2 million. First place will walk away with $262k. The $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo event has grown exponentially over the last few years and if you look back to 2007, there were only 690 players.
