First, treat the backside of the leather with backside finishing agent.

Next, treat the leather edge with edge coat.

3.

 

Let the applied agent completely dry.

4.

 

Make sure to paint, stamp or do other things to the leather before folding it up .

5.

 

Fold one side of the leather and attach a metal snap using an anvil and a setter. Don't attach it completely since you may have to adjust it later. Control your force and little by little hit the head of the snap.

6.

 

Fold the other side of the leather, and attach the other snap. As in Step 5, hit it little by little.
