I used size 6mm needles and chunky fluffy acrylic yarn (think it was for babies stuff)

you need 2 cups and the tie ups, and 2 underwires, and some fabric that matches the wool to cover and attach the underwires

This makes a 34 DD

cast on 25 stitches
knit 3 rows (plain)
knit 23 stitches and leave the last two on the other needle
knit 21 stitches the other way leaving the last two on the needle, like making the heel of a sock

You need two of these. I can't remember how i did it to make it symmetrical, maybe after casting on i knit it purl. it was about a year ago.

Now sew the underwire. encase the underwire in fabric and sew round it, then sew this onto the bra cup.

the middle is simply a piece of yarn used like a tie, you could use ribbon if you were feeling exciting

To make the sides, i just took up some stitches from the side edge of the cup with my fingers (4 stitches from the first , and finger knitted two loose rows, then put these on needles to knit the straps. you just tie it up [показать]
