 Two brothers, Abe no Muneto and Abe no Sadato, plot revenge against Hachiman Taro (Minamoto no Yoshiie) after being defeated in war. Here, Hachiman Taro sits on a platform wearing a fine robe over his armor, clutching a fan in one hand. The two angry brothers flank him, one gripping a bow and a couple of arrows and the other stretching a scroll over his shoulders. From left, the actors are Seki Sanjuro III as Abe no Muneto, Arashi Kichisaburo III as Hachiman Taro, and Sawamura Chojuro V as Abeno Sadato.
