Rebuilding Kiyosu Castle.
By Yoshifuji (1828 - 1887).
The rebuilding of Kiyosu Castle in three days under the direction of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Hideyoshi kneels at far left as Lord Nobunaga surveys the construction from astride his horse at right. The powerful daimyo shields his face with a fan, a stern expression on his face. Tiger skin robes fall over his legs, and encase the sword hanging at his side. A young retainer stands before him gripping a large naginata, the blade protectively wrapped in red cloth.
