Komuroyama park is a municipal nature park with Mt. Komuro (321m tall) above sea level in the center. There is an observatory surrounded by a natural forest and some flower beds at the summit, that visitors can take a lift up to. From there, a great panoramic view from Ojima and Nijima islands on the blue sea, Amagi moutain range in the south, and from Hakone moutain range in the north and to the Mount Fuji in the west can be seen. In the spring, 100,000 azaleas bloom beautifully. At the foot of the mountain, there is also a Dinosaur Plaza, tennis courts, general sports ground, and a Camelia Garden.
