Há vários modelos de cestinhas e o mais fácil de fazer é esse que estou postando hoje. É uma técnica de patchwork e n?o tenha medo de fazer pois dá certo. Pode ser feita a m?o e com certeza esta cestinha vai agradar as visitas com p?o…biscoitos…queijos….azeitonas…salgadinhos…

Some friends asked me to make bread basket.
There are several types of baskets and the easiest to make is this one I'm posting today. It is a patchwork technique and don't be afraid to make because it works. It can be done by hand and for sure this basket will please the visitors with bread... cheese... cookies... olives ... snacks...


Você vai precisar de 2 quadrados de tecido 25 por 25 cm.
2 tiras 4 cm por 25 cm e 2 tiras de 4 cm por 30 cm.
Vai precisar também de um quadrado 25 por 25 cm de manta acrílica. Se n?o tiver pode usar um quadrado de feltro.

You will need two fabric squares 25 by 25 cm.
2 strips of 4 cm by 25 cm and 2 strips of 4 cm by 30 cm.
You will also need a square 25 by 25 cm of acrylic blanket. If you don't have it you can use a square of felt.


Corte os tecidos e a manta acrílica em quadrados de 25 X 25 cm.
Coloque um dos quadrados de tecido virado para o avesso, coloque a manta acrílica e o outro quadrado de tecido virado para o lado direito.

Cut the fabric and acrylic blanket into squares of 25 x 25 cm.
Place a square of fabric turned inside out, place the acrylic blanket and the other square of fabric facing the right side.


Ficará assim: tecido, manta e tecido.

Alfinete os 3 panos.
Coloque bastante alfinetes para que n?o corra o risco dos panos saírem do lugar.

Passe a máquina ou pesponte a m?o as laterais dos tecidos.

Sew or tack the sides of the fabrics.


Corte o excesso de pano deixando uma beirada de 5 mm.

Marque 4 cm em toda a volta a partir da costura.

Mark 4 cm all around from the seam.


Dessa maneira.
Risque com lápis comum ou giz de costureira ou lápis de costura.

Draw with common pencil or tailor's chalk or sewing pencil.


Costure em linha reta os 4 lados do quadrado.

Sew straight the 4 sides of the square.


Prenda a tira de 25cm num dos lados do quadrado e alfinete.

Fix a strip of 25cm on one side of the square and pin.


Faça a mesma coisa do lado oposto. Alfinete.

Do the same thing on the opposite side. Pin.


Costure a máquina ou alinhave a m?o os dois lados.

Sew by machine or tack by hand both sides.


Vire a tira de pano para o outro lado, faça uma bainha e alfinete.
Inicie a dobra da tira pelo centro.

Turn the strip to the other side, make a sheath and pin.
Start bending the strip by the center.


Costure a máquina ou a m?o com pontos invisíveis.

Sew by machine or by hand with invisible stitches.


Prenda as outras 2 tiras de 30 cm nas outras laterais, alfinete e costure.

Fix the other two strips of 30 cm on the other sides, pin and sew.


Para o acabamento, vire as tiras para o outro lado, dê uma bainha e costure com pontos invisíveis ou a máquina.
Inicie a dobra pelo centro da tira.
Perceba que ficou um pedaço de tecido sobrando.

To finish, turn the strips to the other side, make a sheath and sew with invisible stitches or sew by machine.
Start by bending the center of the strip.
Note that there is a piece of fabric left.


Corte a sobra da tira mais ou menos 1 cm e dobre para dentro.

Trim the excess strip about 1 cm and bend inward.


Alinhe a dobra para ficar o mais reto que conseguir.

Dobre dando uma bainha na continuaç?o da tira. Alfinete.

Proceda assim nos 2 lados.

Costure a tira com pontos invisíveis.

Sew the strip with invisible stitches.


Para formar a cestinha pegue as laterais do quadrado e dobre para dentro ou para fora no quadrado que se forma com a costura.

To form the basket take the sides of the square and fold in or out on the square that is formed with the seam.


Preferi dobrar para dentro. Costure a parte aberta pelo lado de fora da cestinha.

I preferred to bend inward. Sew the open part on the outside of the basket.


Costure os 4 lados da cestinha.

Sew the four sides of the basket.


Se você n?o gostar que o centro da cestinha fique um pouco solto escolha um desenho e faça um quilt (ver o procedimento no paninho coraç?o ).

If you do not like the center of the basket to be a little loose choose a design and make a quilt (see the procedure in the fabric heart ).


A cestinha ficou pronta.
Observe que coloquei os palitinhos para tirar o queijo nos detalhes das laterais da cestinha…temos que aproveitar tudo…achei que estava faltando um enfeite…coloquei 2 sapinhos enfeitando…
…bem já tenho gatinho…sapinho…tudo enfeitando meu lanche….
