- 6.5mm (US 10 1/2) circular needles or same size straight needles, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN CORRECT
- Stitch holders
GAUGE12 sts and 16 rows = 4" CHECK YOUR TENSION CAREFULLY
SPECIAL STITCHES
Arrowhead Lace Pattern (12 sts, 8 row repeat)
Row 1: K1, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, k4.
Row 2 and all even numbered rows: P12.
Row 3: K2, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k5.
Row 5: Ssk, yo, k1, yo, s2kp, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, p3.
Row 7: Ssk, yo, ssk, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, yo, k2tog, p3.
Note: Garter edging and set up rows are not included in the chart.
Selvage(s):
Slip the first stitch of every row purl wise.
3-Needle Bind Off:
Step 1: Hold work with right sides facing each other.
Step 2: Insert the tip of a third needle into the first stitch of one needle, then into the first stitch of the other needle. Knit two stitches together.
Step 3: Repeat step 2, knitting the next stitch through the stitches on both needles. Pass the previous stitch over this stitch.
Step 4: Repeat step 3 across the row until all stitches are bound off.

Block pieces to measurements.
Shoulder bind off:
Place the right back and right front with RS facing; using 3-needle bind off, bind off 40 sts.
Bind off 21 sts of center back neck.
Place the left back and left front with RS facing; using 3-needle bind off, bind off 40 sts.
Back neck collar bind off:
Place right back neck collar and left back neck collar with RS facing; using 3-needle bind off, bind off 13 sts.
Sew the back neck collar to the center back neck of kimono (8 inches)
With RS facing, sew sleeves, 8 inches from shoulder to the front, and 8 inches from shoulder to the back.
Sew sleeves seams and 4 inches side seams above 10 inches side slits.
