[показать]For many and many years, Bruce Willis was my very favorite man in Hollywood. I felt in love with Bruce at tender age of ~9 when I first saw him in TV-series "Moonlight" where he was playing a charming detective alongside Cybil Shepard. Ever since that moment, even though back then I couldn't put my thoughts into words this well, I knew that he was a hot piece of ass ;). Having gotten a little older and more verbally expressive, I could finally make a great assessment of my feelings - every time his movie was on TV, I would call my mom in the room just to sigh, "He's soooo sexy, isn't he?".
Despite such a great "passion", I did not know anything (other than that he was incredibly hot) about my movie hero...up until the day I was introduced to the greatest invention of our time, the internet, and got comfortable enough with this wonder to make my first online search. That day I found out that Bruce Willis was 32 years older than me, happily married (and divorced) to Demi Moor, and had three daughters. This discovery became the greatest disappointment of my entire life since, for all those years, I was planning to marry Bruce one day ))). In reality, however, my hero turned out to be way too old to wait until I grow up and come to America, so there was nothing left to live for :)
[показать]A little hope for happiness returned when I saw "Breaveheart" in 2002. I was watching the movie late at night when my mom was away for work and was not able to tear myself away from the screen. I also remember that, after the scene of tortures, since I was alone in the house, I gave vent to tears and couldn't stop crying for about 15 minutes...not so much because William Wallace had to die for the freedom of Scotland, but because it was Mel Gibson who was being tortured :) It was the first time I noticed Mel and the second time I "felt in love" with an actor. Ever since then, Bruce Willis had to share room in my heart with another man.
Unfortunately, Mel Gibson turned out to be not less old or less married than Bruce once was. On the contrary, he was happily married to his wife of many years and had even more children, seven to be exact. This time, however, I was old enough not to start planning our wedding too soon and was contented with just watching all of his movies, both good and bad, over and over again this time exclaiming, "Mom, look at those eyes! Isn't he adorable?". I also devoted much thought to deciding which one of the two was actually my most favorite actor, but failed miserably. I loved them both for their sexy grins, great bodies, and those witty, foolhardy characters they usually played in the movies. In fact, my mom still refers to two actors as "Favourite #1" and "Favourite #2", although neither of us knows who is who :)
A couple of years ago, with great sadness, I started to notice that time began to take a toll on both of my men. To some extent, it is by looking at them getting bolder, fatter, and wrinklier that I feel how fast the life also passes by for me. It really seems that I watched "Moonlight" for the first time and cried over "Breaveheart" just yesterday, and I can't believe that two grandpas I see today on the pictures are the same guys I was once so crazy about. But even more difficult for me is to accept the fact that Mel's new girlfriend is Russian who is "just" 17 years older than me, while Bruce is planning to marry Emma Heming who is 23 years his younger :)
