Grand Duchess Ella Imperial RUSSIA Elizaveta Feodorovna
showing portrait of Ella (Elizabeth) (sister of Czarina of Russia Alexandra Feodorovna), Grand Duchess of Russia Elizaveta Feodorovna, born princess of Hesse-Darmstadt, daughter of Grand Duke Ludwig IV of Hesse and Queen Victoria's daughter Alice.
On June 3, 1884 she married Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich, son of Russian Czar Alexander II.
They lived in St. Petersburg until 1891 and then moved to Moscow when Sergey was appointed governor-general of the city.
After assassination of her husband Elizabeth retired from court life and founded a charitable Convent.
Said to be the most beautiful Duchess ever among the members of the Romanov family, she was brutally murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918 in the city of Alapaevsk, not far from Yekaterinburg.

Grand Duchess who was the queen consort of King George I of Greece and briefly Regent of Greece.
Granddaughter of Tsar Nicholas I and first cousin of Tsar Alexander III, she was born in Pavlovsk , the daughter of Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolayevich of Russia and Grand Duchess Alexandra Iosifovna, a Princess of Saxe-Altenberg.
